Comic Idea -Working Title- Three hundred and fifty years from now, humanity took its first step into the vast frontier of space. Colonies on spread out worlds have proven fruitful and in return united the once divided countries of Earth under the overarching banner known as the United Terran Alliance. But despite great leaps in our own technology and as a society, we have yet to find any other sentient life.

The bandits charged past the gate with axes and torches, killing people with one and burning the nearest house with the other. Botzma dragged his huge axe through the dirt as he approached the barracks. He knew a few knights were inside, but he didn’t expect the other guests.

The wooden door flew open and two arrows emerged from the dark interior. Botzma barely felt them as they pierced his left shoulder. He lifted his right arm to pull them out, and for an instant his view of the barracks was blocked. A campfire was the only light for miles around in the open plains near the capital. The night sky was cloudy and the city was too far away to see. Matthew drank from a canteen while reading a book, he was keeping watch tonight. Tomorrow he would be sleeping instead of his companion, but he hardly trusted Lenny’s skills with a weapon at the moment.
